IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL DIRECT DEBIT MEMBERS

 

It is an exciting time at The Lodge Fitness Centre as we head into summer and 2020!

 

The ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) is introducing a very strict legislation in order to protect consumers against bank and credit card theft.  In order for us to comply with this legislation we must outsource our direct debit facility. After a considerable amount of research we have selected Quickpay and their Gym Vue software, which complies with all of ASIC’s legislation. This guarantees the absolute safety of your bank and credit card information.

 

We believe this new system will help us to significantly increase our efficiency and work distribution to allow our team to focus on what we do best – Looking after our Lodge Family and specialising in all things health and fitness!

 

Our new Club Member Management Software is the most up to date system available and is a far superior platform which we believe will have a positive flow on effect to our members in several ways. It will use the latest technology with features such as a Member Portal and APP so you can access and make changes to the status of your account at your convenience as well as an online booking system for Personal Training sessions.

 

What kind of updates will be happening during this process?

 

·         Our software will be updated through-out the Club allowing us more flexibility with our access control

·         Our Direct Debit payments will now be processed through “Quickpay” a Very Secure Payment Gateway Company

·         We can now offer real time credit card payments, giving you as a member a quicker, up to date response about your transaction

·         You will also have the option to store multiple payment methods on your account

 

What does this mean for you as a member?

 

·         Secure storage of your banking details with complete Credit Card Compliance as per The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) which is now industry law

·         A small fee attached to your direct debit payment, A “Quickpay Payment Processing Fee” which will be 0.44c per debit transaction

·         Credit Cards will attract an additional 1.3% per transaction

·         Reduced “Payment Failure fee” will change from $11/debit to only $5.50/debit

·         You will be able to contact Quickpay directly for questions regarding your payments

 

What do you need to do?

 

·         Absolutely nothing! This change will happen automatically from Thursday 12th December 2019

·         You will now see “Quickpay Pty Ltd T Lodge” on your bank statement

·         There will be no change to your club access
